Why is my device locked?

A lock icon next to a device name means the device has been locked to prevent accidental switching — useful for things like your fridge or a server that you don't want to turn off by mistake.

While locked:

• The on/off toggle is disabled.
• The device can only be turned on or off after it's unlocked.

Locking or unlocking a device

Open the device's Edit Device dialog and use the "Lock Device" toggle, then tap "Save".
