Welcome to the Ecovolt Documentation
What is Ecovolt?
Ecovolt is an AI-native Building Management System (BMS) that helps businesses monitor, control, and reduce their energy consumption. Through a suite of IoT devices and the Everest cloud platform, companies can gain full visibility into how energy is used across their offices, branches, and devices — and take action to cut costs and carbon emissions.
IoT Devices
Volta — Smart Plugs
Ecovolt's Wi-Fi-enabled smart plug. Installed between an appliance and a power outlet, it continuously reports real-time energy usage back to Everest.
Wattson — Smart MCBs
Smart Miniature Circuit Breakers that bring intelligence to your electrical panel. Available in two variants:
- Switch — a smart MCB that can be remotely toggled on/off, replacing traditional circuit breakers
- Coil — a smart MCB with a coil mechanism for automated tripping and resetting
Edion — Smart Switch
Replaces your existing light switches to make them smart. Control your lights remotely through Everest, set schedules, and monitor usage — without rewiring your building.
Maxwell — IR Remote
An infrared smart remote that controls air-conditioners, fans, and other IR-compatible appliances. Automate climate control schedules and manage devices that don't have a plug-based power connection.
Kelvin — Temperature Sensor
A temperature monitoring sensor designed for fridges and cold storage. Continuously tracks temperature and alerts you when a fridge is showing signs of failure — helping you act before food spoils.
Everest — Cloud Platform
Everest is Ecovolt's cloud-based dashboard for managing all your IoT devices in one place. Organise devices by tenant, room, and user, monitor real-time and historical energy consumption, automate schedules with calendar integrations, track costs and savings, and access everything through our API. Whether you're managing a single office or hundreds of branches, Everest gives you full visibility and control over your building's energy usage.
